From Kumba to your table
My Story
Hellen's culinary journey began in 2014 after completing her culinary training in Cameroon. She went on to open and manage her own restaurant in Yaoundé, bringing authentic Cameroonian flavours to a loyal community of food lovers.
Over the years, she managed various kitchens in Kumba, catering for events of all sizes — birthdays, graduation parties, weddings, and everything in between. Her passion for food runs deep, learned from the best teacher she could ask for: her mother.
Now based in the UK, Hellen brings that same love and expertise to Wube's Kitchen, serving the SM5 and SO45 communities with the bold, comforting flavours of home.
The Food
Every dish at Wube's Kitchen is rooted in tradition — recipes passed down through generations, made with authentic ingredients and proper technique. From ndole to jollof, from eru to puff-puff, each plate carries the warmth of a Cameroonian family kitchen.
